Steak Tips
Beef Marinades
Marinating adds flavor and tenderizes. Marinades only penetrate the meat up to about ¼ inch, however, so thinner-sliced cuts of meat are better. Allow ¼ to ½ cup of marinade for each one to two pounds of meat.

Steak Tips
Sauces and Garnishes
There are an endless variety of sauces and garnishes to compliment your steak. Sauteed mushrooms, melted blue cheese, and grilled onions are but a few. Many sauces can be made by combining the pan drippings from your steak with red wine, cream, or butter. Cabernet and peppercorn sauces are quite popular. Try something new each time, experimenting with bold flavors and combinations to add a signature element to your perfectly prepared steaks.
