Barbeque Steak With Garlic and Onion

Sirloin tip steak is cubed and seasoned with garlic powder, coarse salt and fresh ground pepper. Seasoned steak is placed in foil packet with barbeque sauce, chopped yellow or white onion, minced garlic, chopped green bell pepper and splash of olive oil. Packets are grilled over hot coals until steak reaches desired stage of doneness.

Ingredients -
8-10 ounces Sirloin Tip Steak (per serving)
2 tablespoons Barbecue Sauce
1 Yellow or White Onion, chopped
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1/2 Green Bell Pepper, seeded, chopped
1 tablespoon Butter or Olive Oil
2 (18-inch) squares Heavy Duty Foil
Coarse Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
 
Preparation:

1. Prepare the steak by cutting it into 1 inch cubes.

2. Season with garlic, salt and pepper.

3. On a piece of foil with the shiny side facing inward, place the cubes of seasoned steak.

4. Cover with the barbeque sauce, onion, garlic, peppers and olive oil.

5. Wrap up the contents into the foil piece.

6. With the seam facing upward, secure and double the fold to hold in the juices.

7. Place the packets over hot coals and cook for up to an hour, according to desired level of doneness.

8. Serve with hot rolls.
